Giza Pyramids Complex

For more than 4000 years, the Giza Pyramids Complex has been the center of attention, providing a glimpse into ancient Egypt’s remarkable history and magnificence through a number of outstanding monuments such as:

The Great Pyramid of Giza

Khufu’s great pyramid is a heavenly marvel that was built 2600 years ago to allow Khufu entrance to the skies. It is known for standing 147 feet tall, weighing 6 million tonnes, and including a lot of distinctive features such as the king’s room, grand hall, enormous void, and many others.

The Great Sphinx of Giza

Around 2500 BC, the Sphinx of King Khafre was created as an absolute image of strength and knowledge. It’s one of the world’s largest statues, with King Khafre’s visage on it.

The Valley Temple

The valley Temple was built during the old kingdom (2700–2200 BC) to mummify the royal bodies and immortalize them.

He built the two magnificent Abu Simbel temples to commemorate his tremendous victory at the Battle of Kadesh and the signing of the first known peace treaty, to honor his gods Amun, Ra Horakhty, and Ptah, and, most importantly, to honor his faithful and adored wife Nefertari.

After lunch, the family will travel to Aswan train station in a private A/C vehicle, where they will board a train to Luxor and settle into a 5* hotel for the night.
