Pick up from Cairo hotel/address, start the trip to Alexandria (3 hours drive). Tour the catacombs, Pompey's pillar, the roman amphitheater, Abul Abaas mosque, Alexandria library, and view the fort of Qaytbay. Transfer you back to Cairo and then onto your hotel/address.
After breakfast at around 7 am, pick up from Cairo hotel/address, start the trip with Egypt Mo tour guide to Alexandria (approximately 3 hours drive) by our air-conditioned tourist vehicle. Arrive Alexandria, our first stop is the catacombs of Kom Elshukafa Which was discovered in 1900 A.D. the catacombs is a one single piece of sandstone rock curved into underground three stories tomb shelves. The tomb is big enough to accommodate around 2000 mummies, it is a 500 shelves tomb which was found empty. Continue our tours to Pompey's pillar which was once used to lead the ships into the port. The pillar is one giant single piece of reddish granite stone quarried from Aswan and was transported to Alexandria at the time of the Nile's flood. The location of the pillar houses the great tomb of Serapes with the underground maze and tunnels.
Proceed to the Roman amphitheater to see ruins of the Roman streets, the Roman amphitheater, and the surrounding area of Kom Elshukafa.

After lunch, continue our tours to Abulabaas mosque which is the biggest mosque of Alexandria built by the cheif of fishermen El-Morsi Abulabaas. Move to Faroos Island to see the fortress of Qaytbay (outside view) which was built on the location of the ancient lighthouse. The lighthouse was one of the seven wonders of the world and it was destroyed in 37 B.C because of an earthquake.
Opportunity to stop by one of the nice coffee places by the coast for a well-worth cup of Egyptian drink.
Continue our day to Alexandria library to see it from outside.
